Dr. Katie Roberts

Dr. Katie Roberts founded Angelus Urgent Veterinary Care after appreciating the need for those spur of the moment and hard to schedule concerns that her clients were encountering with their pets. Dr. Roberts has worked in many different disciplines of veterinary medicine including large animal, small animal and exotic animal general care as well as emergency and specialty medicine. Dr. Roberts has been practicing throughout New England since she graduated from Ross University in 2009, finally settling in Maine to be close to her family and of course, the ocean.

Dr. Kate Borland

Dr. Kate Borland grew up in Western Pennsylvania and has always loved nature, animals, and the outdoors. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College and later attended UC Davis where she earned a M.S. in Horticulture & Agronomy. After spending the next five years working in the wine & grape industry in both the U.S. and abroad, Dr. Borland decided to switch gears and obtained her veterinary degree from The Ohio State University. Kate completed a year-long internship at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center and has worked in general practice (both brick & mortar and as a mobile vet) and shelter settings over the past twelve years.

In her spare time, Dr. Borland enjoys outdoor activities, running, tending her little farm, photography, fixing up her 200 year-old house, and exploring the great state of Maine. Kate lives in Kennebunk with her six cats, six ducks, and twenty plus chickens.
